Ich hab's tatsaechlich getan / yes, I did it!

Fuer mich ist es wichtig, im Leben moeglichst viele der Dinge zu tun, die ich tun moechte - auch wenn das heisst, dass ich mich manchmal ueberwinden bzw. dazu zwingen muss, weil es ueber meinen Wohlfuehlbereich hinausgeht. Eine Sache auf meiner "To-Do" List war immer Fallschirmspringen. Ich bin nicht ganz hoehensicher, deshalb war ich nicht sicher, ob ich es tatsaechlich jemals tun werde anstatt immer nur davon zu reden. Vergangenen Samstag, meinem 40zigsten Geburtstag, ueberraschte mein Mann mich mit einem Termin zum Fallschirmspringen in Lake Elsinore. Lange Rede kurzer Sinn - ich hatte tierrischen Schiss, aber ich bin gesprungen und es war das unglaublichste Gefuehl, das ich je erlebt habe! Es war allemal meinen trockenen Mund und meine zitternden Knie wert :)
It's important for me to do most of the things I want to do in life, even if this means to push myself from time to time out of my comfort zone. One thing on my "To-Do-List" was always skydiving. I'm a little bit afraid of heights so I wasn't sure if I would ever actually do it instead of just talking about it. Last Saturday, on my 40th birthday, my husband surprised me with an appointment for skydiving in Lake Elsinore. Long story short - I was scared to death but I jumped and it was the most incredible feeling in the world! It was worth the dry mouth and the shaking knees ;)

Wieder mit beiden Beinen sicher auf der Erde konnte ich nicht aufhoeren zu grinsen - tatsaechlich grinse ich noch immer, weil es naemlich so absolut supergut war!
I couldn't stop smiling the rest of the day - acutally I'm still smiling because it was so f***ing awesome!!!
