Shark attack and Fotoshooting

Leider mußten wir gestern die Nachricht hören, dass ein weißer Hai ca. 150 Meter vom Strand entfernt einen 66jährigen Triathleten attackiert und getötet hat. Dieser Vorfall ereignete sich in Solana Beach - ist zwar noch ein kleines Eckchen von uns entfernt aber nicht wirklich weit....
Da das Wetter heute extra toasty war, sind wir gegen Mittag an den Strand gefahren und haben hin und wieder, trotz der ständigen Überwachungsflüge von Hubschraubern und dem Kreuzen der Lifeguardboote, die uns das schrecklich Unglück immer wieder ins Gedächnis riefen, die Füße und noch ein bißchen mehr, ins Wasser gesteckt.
Wir wollen mal hoffen, dass der Hai schon längst weiter gezogen ist!!!
Sadly we must heard about an shark attack yesterday close to the beach. The great white shark attacked a 66 year old triathlete and kills him. This happened in Solana Beach - it`s somewhat away from here but not very far....
The weather today was very toasty so that we drove to the beach at lunch time. The sharck inspection flights and the safty patrols from the Lifeguard Boats, that remind us of that terrible accident, could not stop us from taking a few quick cooling down in the pacific. We hope, that the great white sharck is still push along!!!

Außerdem durften wir heute auch Barbie live am Strand erleben. Sie hatte es bei dem heißen Wetter wirklich nicht leicht - mußte sie doch für einen Fotografen in High Heels auf felsigem Untergrund posieren....
Furthermore we could see Barbie live at the beach. It was not an easy way for her on that really hot day - she had to posed for a photographer in High Heels on this pepply underground.
