Erster Eindruck / first impression

Das ist der erste Blick, den ich morgens habe, wenn ich mit Shiloh das Haus verlasse um den Morgenspaziergang anzutreten. Schoen, oder?
This is the first vision I get when I am ready to leave the house for Shilohs morning walk. It's beautiful, isn't it?

Wieder ein Umzug / another moving day

Heute ging es ins Inland Empire - den Vosmaennern beim Umzug helfen! Today we went to the Inland Empire to help the Vosmen to move!


Milo, Juma und Shiloh fanden das ganze jetzt nicht so spannend!

Jeder genoss die Pause auf seine Weise - waehrend wir uns damit zufrieden gaben, am Pool zu sitzen (und vielleicht einige Koerperteile etwas mit dem feuchten Nass zu bespritzen) sprangen Nina und Malte kurzerhand ins Wasser.
Everybody enjoyed a little rest - while we ourselves gave thereby contentedly to sit at the pool (maybe splashed a little bit water on a few parts of the body), Nina and Malte jumped without farther ado into the water.

Wird Frank Malte loslassen? Will Frank drop Malte?
Ein anstrengender aber schoener Tag! An exhausting but nice day!

Test-Videos

Dies sind unsere ersten Blog-Videos, aufgenommen mit dem Handy. Das eine zeigt den Welpen Bella wie sie mit einem Knochen "kaempft", das andere zeigt Shiloh (knapp 14 Monate) und Bella (5 Monate) beim spielen.
These are our first Blog-Videos. We taped them with the cell phone. One shows puppy Bella fighting with a little bone, the other one shows how Shiloh (almost 14 month) and Bella (5 month) play.

Palm tree service

Heute wurde die Palme in unserem Garten getrimmt. Sie hatte zwei riesige Samen, die drohten runterzufallen.
Today the palm tree service came to cut two slacky seeds.

Die Motorsaege lief die ganze Zeit. Wenn der gute Mann sie nicht benoetigte hing sie einfach am Band runter.
The power saw ran the hole time. If the guy didn't need it it hung simply on the cord.

Full house

Bella ist wieder da! Bella is here again!

Da die "Grossen" ein wenig von Bellas Uebermut genervt sind, haben wir sie ein wenig von ihnen trennen muessen. Zusammen spazieren gehen ist aber gar kein Problem.
The big ones are a little bit hacked off about Bellas high spirits so we decided to separate them a little bit from each other. Safety first! Walking together is not a problem at all!

Meine Kollegin fragte mich heute, ob wir ueber's Wochenende auch noch ihre zwei Hunde nehmen koennten. Das hab ich dann aber dankend abgelehnt.
Today my coworker asked me if we can also take care of her two dogs this weekend. That I had to declined ;)

Shy, Carly, Rolo & Twix

Es ist schon toll zu sehen, wie gut all unsere Besucher untereinander und auch mit Shy auskommen. Carly und Shiloh verbindet zudem ein ganz besonderes Band. Zu niedlich wie sie sich gegenseitig zum spielen auffordern, dann wird ein bisschen gerangelt und dann gibt es kein Halten mehr...
Aber das viele Spielen und Spazierengehen macht auch ziemlich muede.
It is so great to see how all our guest dogs come among with each other and with Shy. Carly and Shiloh share a special bond. It is so cute to see how they invite one another for a little play. After they start they will not stop for a long time....
In edition all the playing and walking makes really tired.


'tschuldigung, im Moment habe ich nur ueber "unsere" Hunde zu berichten! (Aber das ist ja nun mal unser Leben und unsere Leidenschaft!)
Sorry, in the moment there is nothing else to talk about than dogs! (But this is our life and our passion!)

Happy Valentine's Day

Wegen der Romantik (und auch ein bisschen, wegen dem bloeden Wetter) haben wir heute das erste Mal unsere Kamin angezuendet.
Aber zuerst wurde er inspeziert und dann kam der grosse Moment! Nun prasselt ein schoenes Feuerchen - ne wat herrlich!
Because of the romantik (and the bad weather conditions) we used today our fireplace for the first time. First the fireplace got an inspection and than the big moment was there! Now we have a nice fire crackling - how nice!
